This community has been a little slow, so I thought I'd put up a new post and we could get some updates! What are all of the babies up to now? Have they learned anything cool lately?

She's getting so big and grown up!

- She can cruise like it's nobodys business.
- She can stand up alone now!
- She can take one sorta step towards me.
- She says Mama and Papa now!
- She understands no in English and Russian and she understand "not allowed" in Russian and whenever she hears those words she shakes her head!
- She's still breastfed, but she's getting into solids a bit. She really hates peas. Alot. They make her cry. And she loves to have those little Gerber fruit puffs!

And here are recent pictures:

Standing up and playing!

My boy Yuma does the same thing when we say "No" to things he want to get into. He understands also both German and English. But it seems to me he just shakes the head out of frustration lol. Other times he'll laugh so hard when he shakes his head and looks at me and I shake my head, too ^^
He also gets into *everything* - so nosy :) wants to open every drawer and box and cupboard. Thank god for child safety stuff!
He's also still breastfeeding but loves solids at the same time - much different than my first who nursed exclusively well past 1 year. I got him some of those puffs, too :D but I actually want him to eat fresh stuff more than that - so far he likes banana and peaches and melon that I squish with the fork.

How funny! I was just thinking about how no one had posted to this this morning. Don't ask me why, my mind wanders when I can't sleep.

She cruises as well, she really wants to walk to keep up with her sister, but crawls very well to keep up with her now.
She eats just about anything. Our daycare started her early on regular food because she was the same size as another baby that was 3 months older than her and they would "forget" that she was younger. She still drinks formula.
She doesn't talk yet, but I think I've seen hints of sign language that we've been teaching her.
She is an instigator. Her sister still has nuks and she makes a bee line to take them away. She doesn't suck on them, she just takes them out of her sister's mouth, and then her sister has a fit.
She imitates mommy and daddy.

Here are a couple of pics of my 10 month old (today she's 10 mos!!)

Cousins Cooper (blondie), Tanner (holding) and Zoe

A lot of pictures that I've taken with the digital camera, she stops smiling. It's like the orange light mesmorizes her and she gets fixated on the shiny silver thing in front of her: (the only reason she is 'smiling' in the avatar is b/c I took a screen shot of a movie.)

Only one tooth for Payton. He cruses all over and is in to everything. he thinks if its within his reach he owns it. Im surprised at how little interest he has in the cat. Sabastion can lay on the floor and payton will crawl over to him pet him and then is like ohh yeah he still moves and leaves him alone. He eats solids and is still on formula. he likes pasta. and the fruitpuffs too. but ive spoiled him and gave him some of mommys yogurt cheerios. he likes those alot. the other day he tryed rasions he likes them. but it takes him awile to chew them up, but he is really good about it. ohh yeah and yesterday he took his first trip up the stairs by himself. well i was right behind him the whole time but you know he crawled up them. he was so proud of himself.. it was so cute. She's such a doll! I love her cheeks.

Elsa turned 10 mos yesterday. She just started to pull herself up and cruise last week. Yesterday at playgroup, she tried to climb up a plastic slide, backwards. It was so cute.

She says mama and dada. She can sign "book" and "all gone". She also recognizes the sign for "cat" and "milk".

She is working on her 6th tooth.

She is still breastfed. She's not that crazy about solids. She does like cheerios and those little gerber puffs.

She just got over her very first cold. It only lasted a week, so it wasn't too bad.

She also LOVES the water.
